FEniCS 2026: Presentation by Johannes Neumann now available online

The FEniCS Conference took place from June 17 to 19, 2026, at the University of Chicago John W. Boyer Center in Paris. Johannes Neumann attended the event and presented the latest research on the finite-element modeling of complex inelastic materials - such as paper and thermoplastics - using FEniCSx in Session 8 (Engineering applications in structures, propulsion, and manufacturing).

The FEniCS team has now published the recording of his talk, titled “Finite-Element Modeling of Complex Inelasticity Using FEniCSx: Paper and Thermoplastics”. We congratulate Johannes on this successful contribution and are delighted to share the video via the following link.
