Public handover of the chair
On 12 May, Prof. Wolfhard Zahlten held his farewell lecture, which finally concluded his career at the university. We would like to thank Prof. Zahlten once again for the many years he spent teaching students about the world of mechanics and dynamics with great motivation and enthusiasm!
At the same time, Prof. Jaan-Willem Simon publicly started his new task as head of the Computational Applied Mechanics Department with his inaugural lecture. We wish him all the best for his new position!
