Conference contributions at the GAMM 2024
The 94th GAMM (Society for Applied Mathematics and Mechanics) annual meeting recently took place in Magdeburg.
At the conference, Prof. Jaan-Willem Simon presented the work on physics-informed neural networks with the title "Constitutive artificial neural network for elasto-plastic material behavior". Dr. Johannes Neumann presented the progress made in the field of microstructural modeling of paper. The title of his presentation was "Identifying fiber orientation and fiber volume fraction distributions in a commercial paperboard for computational modeling".
