Conference COMPLAS 2023 in Barcelona
The objective of COMPLAS 2023 ("XVII International Conference on Computational Plasticity") is to address the theoretical basis for solving nonlinear solid mechanics problems involving plasticity and other material nonlinearities.
Furthermore, the focus is on solving complex numerical algorithms using efficient and robust computer implementation.
The material behavior of paper is also strongly nonlinear, as it can be plastic or damaging depending on the loads. Birte Boes and Nadir Kopic's research focuses on modeling these material properties. They presented their solution approaches and research results at COMPLAS.
