Inspiring insights into the world of fractals

The 1st IOCFF 2026 offered a excellent platform from April 13 to 15 for the exchange of cutting-edge research in the field of fractals, fractional calculus, and their interdisciplinary applications.

A highlight of the conference was the wide variety of sessions, including:

  • Fractional calculus and its applications in engineering systems
  • Numerical methods for fractional calculus
  • Fractal geometry: mathematical foundations and real-world applications
  • Fractional calculus in complex and nonlinear dynamical systems

We are particularly proud to announce that Lilian Aurora Ochoa Ontiveros participated as a speaker in the session: “Fractal Geometry: Mathematical Foundations and Real-World Applications,” where she presented the following work:

Construction of Fractal Stiffness and Mass Matrices for Two-Dimensional Self-Similar Frames

This contribution explores advanced formulations of stiffness and mass matrices within fractal continua, offering new tools to model the dynamic behavior of self-similar structures.

A sincere thank you to the organizers and the global research community for creating such a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Events like this continue to push the boundaries of how we understand complex systems.

Looking forward to continuing these conversations and future editions of IOCFF!
