Scientific exchange and inspiration for our work in multiscale modeling and elasto-plastic material modeling

Members of our research group CAM had the pleasure of participating in the 18th International Conference on Computational Plasticity at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. CAM's own Jan Mirco Pfeifer and Nadir Kopić-Osmanović greatly enjoyed exchanging ideas on state-of-the-art research with the community and, of course, exploring the beautiful city of Barcelona.

Jan contributed to the minisymposium "Multiscale And Multiphysics Modelling Of Fibrous Materials And Fibre Reinforced Composites" organized by Emanuela Bosco and Artem Kulachenko. Nadir took part in the minisymposium "Elastoplasticity and Viscoplasticity" organized by Yuki Yamakawa and Koichi Hashiguchi.

Many thanks to the organizers for creating such a stimulating environment and to CIMNE for their exceptional management of this inspiring event. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with colleagues, share ideas, and gain new insights. We are truly grateful to have been part of this year's COMPLAS!
